AN IRISH LEGEND

This week, Clara has told us a traditional legend from her country, Ireland, about a famous giant called Finn McCool and his fight against another giant from Scotland.
As a result of this, we can visit and enjoy the Giant´s Causeway, a beatiful place on the North Coast of Ireland.


Esta semana, Clara nos ha contado una leyenda tradicional de su país, Irlanda, sobre un famoso gigante llamado Finn McCool y su lucha contra otro gigante de Escocia.
Como resultado, podemos visitar y disfrutar del "Camino del Gigante", un lugar precioso en la costa norte de Irlanda.

SPORT VISIT

The last 30th of September, we participated in a sport journey at SADUS. The students of second and third cicle visited the sport centre. There, we made a circuit doing different sport activities with specialized monitors, such as zumba, hockey, acrossport and other activities…

It was good fun!

El pasado 30 de septiembre, participamos en unas jornadas deportivas en el SADUS. Los alumnos de segundo y tercer ciclo visitamos el centro deportivo. Allí realizamos un circuito participando en distintas actividades con monitores especializados, entre ellas zumba, hockey, acrossport y otros juegos.

¡Fue muy divertido!

We welcome Clara to our School

This year we have a new English language assistant from Belfast in Ireland. Her name is Clara and she likes sports and drama. She will be working with us every tuesday and thursday until June. We are very lucky to have her here!


Este año contamos con una nueva auxiliar de conversación que viene desde Belfast en Irlanda. Su nombre es Clara y sus hobbies son los deportes y el teatro, Ella estará trabajando con nosotros los martes y los jueves hasta junio. ¡Somos muy afortunados de tenerla con nosotros!

Welcome to the new school year 2015-2016 at Cruz del Campo School!

 

After the long Summer holidays, we come back with a lot of energy and motivation to start this new course in which, for the first time, we will count with a complete line formed by six groups: from First to Sixth levels. Another novelty is that, this school year we will also have a complete head team, formed by Álvaro, as Head teacher; Inmaculada, as Head of Studies and Fausto, as Secretary.

We are 150 students and 10 teachers in total.

We want to welcome to the new pupils of the First level: the youngest of the school. But also to the two new teachers: Mercedes and Eva. With them, the staff is already complete. The distribution is as follow:

M. Jesús Falla: Tutor of  4º/ Bilingual Natural and Social Science

Isabel Guerle: Bilingual Natural and Social Science

Carmen Hernández: Tutor of 2º

Mercedes Larete: Tutor of 1º

Álvaro Rodrigo: Physical Education

Eva Villa: Reinforment and supporter teacher

Luis Villalba: Tutor of 5º/ Music

Inmaculada Yañez: Tutor of 6º

Besides, we are looking forward to meeting our new Languages Assistant. Her name is Clara and she comes from Northern Ireland.

We remind you that this blog is coordinated by the bilingual area at the school, but, you all are invited to collaborate in it. If you have any interesting information that you want to share, you can do it contacting with Isabel or M. Jesús, and they will tell you how to do it.

¡Bienvenidos al nuevo curso escolar 2015/2016 en el CEPR Cruz del Campo School!
 

Tras las largas vacaciones de verano, venimos con mucha energía y mucha ilusión a comenzar este nuevo curso en el que, la principal novedad es que por primera vez somos un centro completo de una línea: de 1º a 6º.

Otra novedad es que por primera vez tenemos un Equipo Directivo al completo, formado por Álvaro, como director, Inmaculada, como jefa de estudios y Fausto como secretario.

Contamos en total con 150 alumnos y 10 maestros.

Queremos dar la bienvenida a nuestros nuevos alumnos de primero, los pequeños del colegio. Pero también a las nuevas maestras que se han incorporado al Centro: Mercedes y Eva. con ellas la plantilla está ya al completo. La distribución es la siguiente:
